The DRILLING HEAD is designed to be used when the pipeline is completely blocked and no other tool can penetrate. The tool is attached to the end of the rods and then rotated whilst at the same time forward presure is exerted on the rods. This drilling action with open the way for other tools to be used. Once opened, tools such as the drop scraper and cable winching can be used to clear the debris.
