The GULLEY PLUNGER is designed to be used to clear blocked gulleys. To clear a gulley, lift the cover plate or grill and insert the gulley plunger. Using a pumping action, the blockage should be removed. Once it has been removed, flush the pipeline with a bucket of water. If the gulley does not clear, it may be the pipeline that is blocked and not the gulley. In that case, using one of the other tools found here would be required.
