The ROD GRIPPER is designed to grip the rod between couplings. It allows you to pull the rods where you would otherwise not be able to. It is most usual when more than one person is pulling because you are not limited to only pull at the couplings. The rod gripper is also very useful when the rods have broken and the coupling is out of reach.
