The ROD HITCH TOOL is designed to be used when you need to pull the rods harder than is possible by hand. To use the tool, slide the last coupling into the tool and attach a chain to the tow hitch of a vehicle, passing it through the loop in the tool. Once secured this will you to drive the vehicle away from the manhole, pulling the rods. This is most useful when removing large root blockages from the pipeline. CAUTION: Do not use this tool with a drop scraper, it may damage the pipeline.
